Old Business
- Silver Anniversary Event has been moved to September. We are still looking for a site.
There are two possibilities, but they are dry. Maybe they can be used for other events.
- Spotswood Demo on March 16th. By the middle of February, Toby should have all the
information on what they are looking for in the way of demonstrations.
- Summer University 2000. Anne is still looking for a site. She has tentative
reservations, since no one will give definite reservations until March or April.
New Business
- Pennsic. Pennsic Books will be coming out in February. Debbie Jo is tentatively acting
as land agent. Will there be anyone from Isenfir camping with Isenfir the first week?
- Rena has volunteered to be our ride coordinator for on-campus people. If you need a
ride, please let her know, and she will help.
- Caer Gelin will be holding Kingdom War Practice in the spring and would like our help.
since were not having an event. They want to have dancing, and A&S things going
on.
Officer Reports
(Web Minister absent)
- Chatelaine: Toby brought up the idea of trying to do a demo every 3
months in different areas of the shire. Waynesboro is our next likely place. Teri is still
working on getting a demo organized up at PVCC
- Exchequer: End of the year reports are in. $568.46 spendable in our
account
- Herald: Reports have been going in. Gio should be hearing back on
several peoples names being registered.
- Chronicler: Due to bad weather, The Farings will be going out late.
Reports have gone in on time.
- Heavy Weapons De Facto: Heavy weapons practice will officially begin
sometime after March 18th, after he takes the long-awaited Marshaling class.
- Rapier: They need new loaner equipment. Nick is looking onto the cost
of masks. They have been having a very good turn out. They are also figuring out exactly
how they want to participate in our Silver Anniversary.
- Dance Master Extraordinare/Red Mountain Inn:
1) Dance Class starts on 2/3/00 through the city of Charlottesville. Planning on possibly
having the last dance (in garb, maybe?) on Saturday March 11.
2) Caer Mear is holding dance practice on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.. Would
like us to show up, help and support them.
3) We need to have minting parties now that we have the dies and supplies. We need more
coin to keep the RMI up and running.
- Minister of Arts and Sciences: Still needs to know what people wish to
learn, outside of dance and fighting.
- Fiber Arts: Will continue to be held at Karen and Davids house on
first Tuesdays. Looking for someplace else to hold it on third Tuesdays. Anne is getting a
schedule together for what is going to be taught, by whom and when.
