Minutes of May 2000 Populace Meeting

May 22, 2000

Meeting called to order at 7:30pm by the lovely Debbie Jo with 10 people in attendance.

Pennsic: PRE-REG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Silver Anniversary Event: We're going to suck it up and reserve Camp Holiday Trails, and keep our eyes open for something just as nice, but cheaper. We can always cancel and get the money back from Holiday Trails, if need be.
University: has changed to a Royal's Progress, still need a few more volunteers, RMI will be there, going to pass out flyer for our fall event.

New music/madrigal group being started by David Gilbert. If you need any information, contact him at njal1000@firstva.com

Herald: Lot of new submissions. Please be patient, there might be some rocky roads ahead in getting everything passed.
Chatelaine: Lots of new people are showing up and wanting information.
Chronicler: Report finally went in and wasn't sent back. Isenfarings will go out sometime in June, due to schoolwork conflicts.
Minister of Arts and Sciences: Nothing new. Just working on stuff for University at Handcrafters. Nothing new planned after.
Exchequer: We have money. Hopefully we will have more after University.
Rapier Marshal: Not much going on.
De facto Heavy Marshal: Ditto
Archery: Still waiting for Toby to become Marshal type person. 1 event to go and he will be.
Dance Master: Dance is moving as of 6/22/00. Don't know where to yet. Any suggestions? Remember: cheap is good, free is better, air conditioning is wonderful, and so is not getting rained on.
Red Mountain Inn Proprietor: We need another coin-making party. Suggestions for when and where?
Minister of Minors: Nothing yet
