POPULACE MEETING

(Reconstructed from my cryptic scribblings a month old because my
computer ate the first ones.)
Meeting called to order in the boardroom at Newcomb Hall.
Genii, our Seneschale, had no report. Deputy Katrina said they had
attracted a few new folks to the student group, they had a full A&S
schedule, and there would be a Masked Ball at the SAB October 30th.
Deputy Deborah said she was trying to get a bid made for Unevent, but she
thought she would be too late. 
Chatelaine^Òs report: No contacts this month.
A&S Minister absent. Dance Master says we^Òre dancing. Polyphony director
says we^Òre singing and have several new voices, and likely a soprano.
Drumming, contact Waian.
Exchequers Report: The signature cards have finally returned from
Corpora. He has taken them to the bank.
UnChronicler: Keeping minute notes up to date. 
Herald: Has had two contacts. Says contact her anytime if someone wishes
help with hearldry.
Webminister: Fred is continuing to update the site.
Fighting: Heavy at Scott^Òs on Sundays through October.
Rapier: Very full schedule. Check with Jenn.
Archery: Njal has finally finished his archery marshaling apprenticeship.
Thrown: We still need targets.
Old Business: We aren^Òt doing Fall Fiber Festival. Christfana has not
been able to contact the liason person. Games Tourney: We need a MOL.
Debbie will contact the appropriate peole to get a substitute. The next
two Hcs will be devoted to Games Tourney prep. Phoebe has made the palio
ponies, but they need trimmed. Coin blanks will be taken to Fighter
practice so more coins can be struck. Last HC will be to finish painting
game boards and learn the games.
Siege engine. Trebuchet is in the Shire, will be moved to Landi^Òs soon.
New Business: Our Minister of Minors has asked to step down. The post is
open awaiting a volunteer. 
Next Populace will be held in the first floor meeting room in Newcomb.
