On Saturday, November 20th, 1999, the Shire of Isenfir was honored to host another of it's tavern revels, a Revel at the Red Mountain Inn. It was a day of gaming, gambling, and general fun, followed by an evening of good food and lots and lots of dancing. A great time was had by all. Those unfamiliar with the Red Mountain Inn should read about it. We were fortunate to be able to hold this event in the gothic beauty of Meade Hall at Christ Episcopal Church in downtown Charlottesville. It is a lovely site with a great atmosphere, and we are all so grateful to the administration of the church for their kindness and generosity in permitting us to use it for such a reasonable price. For those who would like to get a taste of the event and it's many activities, the following pages present a brief photo-essay of the day and evening at the Red Mountain Inn. The Shire would like to thank Yolande of Isenfir for these pictures. Please note that the following pages, while containing only thumbnail images, are still a little large if you have a slow connection. If you didn't see it before, you may want to check out the original flyer for the event, containing the Order of Dance and links to the Game and Dance Book. Thanks to everyone who helped out and made this event so successful! |
