Triangle Demo

Fencing!   Dancing!   Fighting!   Gaming!   Crafting!

As surely as [insert favorite sure-fire thing here], if it's September, there will be a gathering of the Shire of Isenfir on the Triangle at UVa, to once again enlighten and inform the community of all the wonderful fun the SCA has to offer! If you're an SCA member, come on out and show folks the exciting things you do. If you're not but are interested in things Medieval and Renaissance, come out and see for yourself the diverse things the SCA has to offer. Do you like swordplay? There will be opportunities to learn about both the rapier and armored combat the SCA does and try out some of the equipment. Like dancing? Come learn a dance or two. Come play some period games. Or see some period crafts. Meet interesting new people who like having fun.

This display of manly prowess and feminine virtue (or feminine prowess and manly virtue, or whatever) is open to everyone, and we heartily encourage you to come out and see in a small way a taste of what the SCA has to offer. If you want more information, feel free to contact Kendra Schmid. Or just come on out anytime between noon and 5 and wander up to anyone in medieval garb and say hi. We don't bite unless you ask, so come out, introduce yourself, and find out about all the fun you've been missing!
